Privacy and cookies
Who operates this site
Lakatos Alex operates lakatosalex.hu and its short addresses lalex.hu and aleksz.hu. For questions or requests about your data, email hello@lakatosalex.hu. This notice was updated on 23 October 2026.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. It processes technical request data, including IP address, requested URL, browser information and country, to provide the service and prevent abuse. This necessary processing serves the legitimate interest of running a secure, reliable website. Selected Worker traces are sampled at 1%; application error logs contain event names rather than request bodies or visitor identifiers. Worker observability data is retained by Cloudflare for up to seven days, depending on the account plan. Cloudflare may separately process network and security data under its own policies.
Preferences on your device
Your language, reduced-motion and other accessibility choices are stored locally until you clear them. The cookie decision is stored in local storage for 180 days, then we ask again. A country cookie, when set, lasts one day and supports language and consent wording. It never grants analytics permission. These preferences are necessary to remember your choices and are not used for advertising.
Optional audience measurement
Only after you accept analytics does Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, measurement ID G-R3SF4SQ5HH) receive page addresses, referrers, visit events, browser/device details and cookie identifiers for audience measurement. No Google tag or analytics request is sent before acceptance or after rejection. We do not configure advertising, Google Signals, user IDs, custom events or session recording. Please avoid placing personal information in page URLs.
Analytics retention and withdrawal
The _ga and _ga_* cookies are configured to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on later activity. The GA property retains event data for two months and user data for 14 months; new activity restarts the user-data retention period. These settings do not govern aggregated standard reports. You can reject analytics or withdraw acceptance at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal disables collection, clears accessible GA cookies and reloads the page. It stops future collection; it does not automatically erase reports or information already held by Google.
Providers and international processing
Cloudflare and Google operate international infrastructure, so processing may occur outside Hungary and the EEA, including in the United States. Their privacy and transfer information is linked below. This site does not promise EU-only processing. Access to site analytics and operational information is restricted through the operator’s provider accounts; the site has no visitor accounts or shared customer database.
Your choices and rights
For applicable data-protection rights, contact hello@lakatosalex.hu to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need proportionate information to identify the data concerned. You can withdraw analytics consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may complain to Hungary’s National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), or your local supervisory authority. Clearing site storage also removes your saved preferences and causes the banner to appear again.
Email and external links
Email opens your own mail application; this website has no contact-form database. Messages you choose to send are handled to answer your inquiry, separately from analytics. Links to GitHub, YouTube and other sites open those services; their own privacy terms apply. Fonts and decorative images are served from this site.
